Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") before using Aloft ("App"), provided by Hannes Jung ("Developer"). By using the App you agree to these Terms.

Using the App

  • The App is for planning personal trips. Don't use it for anything unlawful.
  • You are responsible for what you enter and share, including trips you share with others.
  • Travel times, opening hours, places and photos come from third parties (Apple Maps, Pexels, Unsplash) and may be incomplete or out of date. Check bookings, schedules and entry requirements with the provider before you travel. Bookings read from confirmations are suggestions you confirm yourself.

Free plan and Aloft Pro

The App is free to download and includes a free plan:

  • Free: one trip you own, with up to 3 stops (day trips and return visits count as stops) and up to 10 places per stop. Places to stay, photos, the transport step, Today and joining trips others share with you are included.
  • Aloft Pro: unlimited trips, stops and places, sharing trips you own, and attaching bookings from the inbox to a trip.

iCloud sync is included for everyone. If Pro ends, nothing you have planned is locked or hidden; only adding beyond the free limits stops.

Subscriptions, pricing and renewal

Aloft Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription or a one-time purchase:

  • Monthly: renews every month.
  • Yearly: renews every year, at a lower price than twelve months. Eligible new subscribers get a 7-day free trial.
  • Lifetime: a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro for as long as the App is available on the App Store.

Prices are shown in the App before purchase and vary by country. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically at the current price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.

You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account settings at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for. Purchases can be restored with "Restore purchases" in the App. Aloft Pro supports Family Sharing.

App Store terms

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store, and your use of it is also subject to Apple's terms. Purchases are processed by Apple; the Developer does not process or store payment information.
